Some diverse and fine music this week: Heliopolis from California, with one of the best releases this year, of course on 10T records; Lisa LaRue Baker’s 2Kx project, back with an EP, featuring the talents of most the 2Kx musicians from the last time; The unique sounds of Eccentric Orbit with their long-awaited follow-up, featuring the thunderous bass of Bill Noland; Blake Carpenter’s latest project, the rocking and politically charged Voice of the Enslaved; And local Baltimore act Poehimia, who have an EP out in advance of a full-length release hopefully soon.

Heliopolis - New Frontier (City Of The Sun)

Lisa LaRue 2KX - Lemniscate (Sussuration)

Eccentric Orbit - Stellar Attraction (Creation Of The Humanoids)
Eccentric Orbit - Marilyn Monrobot (Creation Of The Humanoids)

Voice Of The Enslaved – Idiot Box (Voice OF The Enslaved)
Voice Of The Enslaved – Watching You (Voice OF The Enslaved)
Voice Of The Enslaved – Apocalypse Now (Voice OF The Enslaved)

Poehemia - The Ascent (Orpheus In The Underworld)
